How You Can Support CFSD Programs
KID'S PLATES
A program has been initiated to allow Californians to help support programs for children when they buy a personalized "Kid's Plate" auto license. Proceeds from this purchase help fund child care licensing programs, child injury prevention programs, county children's trust funds, and the California State Children's Trust Fund. Contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles office to obtain a copy of the "Special Interest License Plates" application form (Reg 17/3 Rev. l0/94) to order your "Kid's Plate" auto license.
CALIFORNIA STATE CHILDREN'S TRUST FUND
The California State Children's Trust Fund (CSCTF), established by the Legislature in 1983, funds and promotes programs that assist at-risk families. The CSCTF funds creative programs that reach communities from the inside out. These programs use the community's natural infrastructure (schools, libraries, hospitals, churches, colleges, police stations, banks and clinics) to provide services that work to help strengthen the family.
CALIFORNIA STATE FAIR
Each year, the CFSD operates a booth at the California State Fair to provide information regarding Adoptions and Foster Care placement as well as recruits for adoptive and foster parents.
